2000 was the year when the Laser Investment Group was founded as an investment company. In the same year Laser was listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange under the name ‘Laser Investment Group PLC’.
In 2007 Laser moved from investment activities into becoming franchisee of International well established food & beverage chains. Today Laser operates 13 stores – 6 Coffee Beanery and 7 Burger King Restaurants.
After hard negotiations, carefully planned proposals and based on the company’s strategic plan, in 2007 Laser gained the franchise rights for Coffee Beanery and thus became Master Franchisee of Coffee Beanery Europe for 24 European counties. Today Laser operates 6 CB stores in Cyprus, 3 in the capital Nicosia and 3 in the vibrant city of Limassol.
Later in 2007, following the same values and always in alignment with its strategic plan, Laser grabbed the opportunity and became master franchisee in Cyprus, of the 2nd largest fast food hamburger chain in the world, Burger King and since developed BK into a popular fast food destination with 7 restaurants, 4 in Nicosia, 2 in Limassol and 1 in Ayia Napa.
